We stayed at Red Frog for 4 nights during our visit to La Fortuna and loved every minute of it. The hotel is conveniently located near great restaurants, with the best one being connected to the property itself. Roy, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful, and his freshly roasted coffee is a delight. The accommodations were simple but clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed spending time in the covered patio area with hammocks. The complimentary breakfast at the Red Frog Restaurant was delicious, and Roy's recommendations for activities and car rental were invaluable. a fantastic experience.

We had a fantastic stay at a hotel on the outskirts of this city. The location was convenient, with several restaurants nearby. However, the best restaurant was the one connected to the hotel itself. The owner, Roy, was super friendly and helpful, and he also happens to be a magnificent coffee roaster. Having freshly roasted coffee just a few steps away from our room was truly wonderful. The accommodations were simple but clean and comfortable. The hotel had excellent facilities, including a covered patio area with hammocks, where we enjoyed spending our mornings and afternoons. The staff, including Roy, provided outstanding service, offering valuable suggestions on places to go and arranging activities such as a fantastic chocolate tour and a visit to the best thermal springs. They even got us a great deal on a car rental. The breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was delicious, with the traditional Costa Rican breakfast being exceptionally well done. this hotel provided a great experience and met all our expectations.
