We had a fantastic stay at this hotel nestled in a stunning mountainside location. The cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel facilities were top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to assist us when our car got stuck, even arranging someone to pick us up. The hotel's hot spring pool was a wonderful feature, and we enjoyed the beautiful garden setting.

Beautiful location, 2 hours from the coast. Dated, yet gorgeous in its prime. Restaurant, spa, hot/cold pools, hiking trails. Hilly with walking involved, but hotel provides shuttle. Gated and secure. Rooms clean and comfortable. Well-maintained surroundings. Peaceful environment. River, hot springs, swimming pool. Breakfast good. Large, temperature-controlled swimming pools. Small, cold waterfall. Properly maintained facilities. Nice SPA.

My stay at Rio Perlas Spa & Resort was a fantastic experience. I spent a few relaxing days enjoying the beautiful surroundings of one of the nicest areas in Costa Rica. The hotel itself is outstanding, with excellent facilities and a recently completed remodeling. The small, private pools were a highlight, and the elegant restaurant added to the overall charm. The breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated the easy access to tours and activities in the area. a wonderful and rejuvenating stay.

I must say, the value for money at Rio Perlas Spa & Resort was fantastic! The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge, plus the patio was a nice touch. The location in the middle of the jungle was breathtaking and the staff treated us like royalty throughout our stay.

Beautifully constructed casitas with happy family groups, set in a huge secure garden with hot spring pool and pleasant restaurant facility. Perfect air and temperatures. Nature around, river and lake near the property. The staff were extremely helpful. The hot spring pool seemed nice.

Beautiful scenery with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and jungle. the spacious villa we stayed in was quaint and had hot water, which can be hit or miss in remote Costa Rica. the hot springs pool was large and the temperature was above normal, providing a relaxing and peaceful setting.

Maintenance issues in our room were not resolved. the shower tap was leaking and hanging off the wall, and the key to the safe did not work.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The location of the hotel was beautiful, with a river running through the area and a natural hot swimming pool. The grounds offered stunning views and there was plenty of wildlife to see, including blue morpho butterflies. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering assistance with transportation and activities in the surrounding area. The hotel also provided free WiFi, which was a bonus.

The temperature in the region was comfortable throughout the year, eliminating the need for air conditioning in the rooms. The spacious villa we stayed in had all the necessary amenities, including hot water, which can be a hit or miss in remote locations. The hot springs pool was a highlight, with above-normal temperature and a great hot tub in a secluded area by the waterfalls and river. the resort provided great value for the price and its location.

One minor inconvenience was the difficulty in finding the hotel, which is to be expected in Costa Rica. Additionally, the hot water broke down during our stay, but the management promptly sent someone to fix it.
