The location of the lodge is stunning, with a little lake right next to it and a beautiful waterfall in the middle of the woods. It is also nestled between two banks of misty hills and next to a peaceful river. The rooms are comfortable and the staff provides friendly and helpful service. The breakfast is excellent, and there are plenty of birds to admire for birdwatchers.

The menu for lunches and evening meals could have more choices.

We had an amazing experience at a lodge in a beautiful location next to a river and private lake. The bungalows had balconies that overlooked the lake and the surrounding hills. The garden had a lovely walking trail that led to a waterfall and a hanging bridge, where we spotted a trogon and heard a quetzal. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, and we even got a fair half-price deal since it was off-season.

Large hotel with good restaurant. Ideal for bird watching in the national park. Clean, well-furnished double bungalow with nice pond view balcony. Hiking trails start at the hotel. Cool climate due to high altitude.

we had a fantastic stay at the suenos del bosque lodge! the chalets were lovely and spacious, with two bedrooms and a loft. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially jonatan. the setting was idyllic, surrounded by nature and perfect for birdwatching. the food at the lodge was delicious, and the breakfast was particularly good. we also enjoyed the nearby hiking trails, although be warned that some paths are in bad condition. overall, a great choice for a stopover in the mountains. don't forget warm clothes for chilly nights.

Nestled in the mountains, this hotel is the perfect place to escape the city and ring in the New Year. the cool temperatures were perfect for hiking the nearby trails and admiring the stunning waterfall. the food was top-notch, especially the fresh trout, and the beautiful flowers and hummingbirds added to the peaceful atmosphere.

The drive to the hotel was treacherous, especially at night. Stock up on snacks before arriving, as there aren't many food options nearby.
