We booked this hotel last minute while traveling back to San Jose and we were extremely happy we did. The room was beautiful, staff were more than helpful and friendly, pool was great, the bar cocktails were delicious. Food here is very reasonably priced, fresh, and very well prepared. They even cooked a seafood dinner for us made with fish we purchased at the nearby fishing village. Also right on the beach where you can paddle board or kayak, nice waves without the ocean current. Loved having drinks while taking in all of the local wildlife. This hotel is one of the best highlights of our entire 21 day trip to Costa Rica.

Everything was spot on. The hotel had a central pool and bar area on the beach, surrounded by lush jungle. The rooms were spacious with walk-in shower areas. The staff was friendly and attentive. the breakfast was delicious and the cleanliness of the hotel facilities was impeccable.

The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the ferry in Paquera and a supermarket close by. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. our stay at this hotel was wonderful and I highly recommend it.

This resort offers spacious rooms with a beautiful view of the beach and sunrise. The pool is open 24/7 and warm, and the whole place has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast is satisfying. There are plenty of places to find on the large beach, and the hotel is away from the busy resorts.

Felt cosy, nothing too much trouble.

I was amazed by the beautiful grounds and the well-kept pool at Tambor Tropical. The beachfront location was a definite highlight, with hammocks and tables where we could relax and enjoy the view. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with kitchen facilities and free coffee. The included drink at the bar was a nice touch. I had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

Quiet and relaxing beachfront property. Large, comfortable rooms with beach views. 24/7 warm pool. Good wifi and A/C. Continental breakfast and tiki bar by the pool.

Stayed 8 nights. 12 spacious units. Amazing staff, great service. Beach/pool to yourself. Very clean. Inexpensive restaurant/bar. Nearby villages, fantastic beaches, restaurants, shops. Drive to Montezuma, Carmen Beach, Santa Theresa Beach. Javier for day activities, fair pricing. Will be back.

We had a fantastic stay at this quaint beach resort. Our room had a stunning view and the sound of birds in the morning was so soothing. The beach was perfect for walks and we found some lovely seashells. The staff at the bar were phenomenal and made our time even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway.
