During our Christmas stay, there were a couple of things that we really liked about the hotel. First, the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful, offering us great advice on the local area and amenities. Second, the hotel was located very close to a beautiful and almost private beach, which was perfect for enjoying the sun and the waves. Additionally, one more advantage that we enjoyed was the fact that the hotel had bikes for rent, making it convenient for us to explore the surrounding area.

There were also a few things that we didn't like about our stay. The first downside was the noise from the road, which was right next to our accommodation.

The breakfast was nice, with fresh fruits, juice, and eggs in the fridge. The tropical plant arrangements were inviting. The home was clean and the grounds amazing. The host, Mauro, was kind and accommodating. The beach suite had an awesome interior with a unique bathroom including a sea horse jacuzzi, snake shower, and open space shower and toilet. In the middle of a tropical garden, the private space allowed for sightings of Costa Rican wildlife. The staff was helpful and responsive, organizing a barbecue and fixing the jacuzzi quickly. The beach next to the lodge was peaceful and beautiful. We loved everything about this property, especially the renovated bus which featured unique artistry and had as much outdoor space as indoor. Mauro and Stephanie were amazing hosts, and there was a security guard available until midnight. The brand new suite was well equipped with everything we needed, including a comfortable king bed. This accommodation was a true treehouse experience, with an open layout and a top bedroom. The outside tub, heated by wood, was a fun addition. The location, surrounded by jungle and just minutes from the beach, was incredible. While the price was steep compared to other properties, the uniqueness of the experience made it valuable.

I had an amazing time staying at this unique treehouse in Puerto Viejo. It was a truly one-of-a-kind experience, with a toilet and shower in a tree! The open layout, kitchen, and living area were great, and I loved the adventure of climbing up to the top bedroom. The outside tub, heated by wood, was a fun touch. Plus, being surrounded by jungle was incredible, with monkeys, iguanas, and toucans right outside. The location was convenient, just minutes from the beach and close to restaurants. The staff were helpful and friendly, making my stay even better.

El personal y el servicio fueron excelentes, siempre amables y eficientes. La habitación era amplia y cómoda, con todas las comodidades necesarias como baño completo, frigorífico y terraza. Además, el hotel contaba con instalaciones que nos permitieron disfrutar de una estancia agradable, como un restaurante donde la comida era deliciosa y a un precio razonable. La ubicación del hotel también fue muy conveniente, ya que se encontraba cerca de todo en la ciudad.

I had an amazing stay at the tree house lodge. The location was absolutely beautiful, with a secluded beach just a short walk away. The wildlife was abundant, with sloths, iguanas, and toucans all around. The staff, especially Maria at reception, were incredibly helpful and friendly. I also loved the spacious rooms in the tree house, as well as the clean kitchen, which had everything I needed. The hotel even provided free laundry service, which was a nice bonus. The location was perfect for visiting both national parks, and the hotel had bikes available for rent. I can't wait to go back!

The staff, especially Maria at reception, were incredibly helpful and friendly. We also loved the privacy we had, as the staff would leave us alone unless we sought them out. The hotel had bikes for rent, which was convenient, and the kitchen was nice as well.

We loved everything about this property! The renovated bus has a story, it’s thoughtfully laid out, features unique artistry, and has as much outdoor space as indoor. They didn’t miss a thing, providing storage, supplies, and even basic cooking ingredients. The beach access is a short walk through the jungle, and the security guard made us feel safe when exploring. Mauro and Stephanie were amazing hosts!

We stayed at the Beach House at Tree House Lodge for 3 nights and it was an incredible experience. The renovated bus they provided as accommodation was beautifully laid out, with unique artistry and ample indoor and outdoor space. They had thought of everything, from storage and supplies to a drinking water cooler and even basic cooking essentials. The location was perfect, just a short walk through the jungle to the beach where we spotted iguanas. The staff, Mauro and Stephanie, were fantastic and we felt safe with a security guard available until midnight.

We had an amazing time at the hotel! The staff was super helpful and made us feel right at home. The property was tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still conveniently located near grocery stores and restaurants. The best part was being just steps away from the beautiful beach and surrounded by the lush jungle. We loved being able to hear the howler monkeys and spotting iguanas, sloths, and tree frogs. It truly felt like a unique and immersive experience.

Although the overall experience was great, there were a few downsides. The lack of air conditioning made the room a bit stuffy at times, but opening the windows helped with ventilation.

This unique treehouse experience was perfect for couples. The almost private beach and convenient bike rentals were a highlight. The kitchen, friendly staff, and privacy were all fantastic. The multi-level house had great airflow and comfortable bedding. Wildlife sightings on the property were a bonus.

Felt like royalty, no complaints whatsoever.

The unique school bus was fully equipped, clean, and comfortable, with a large outdoor hangout area. It was also conveniently close to the peaceful and almost private beach. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering bike rentals and respecting privacy. The experience felt like being in a treehouse, with a cool tree shower and wildlife sightings on the property. A great place to stay and would love to return.

Located near the sea with jaw-dropping views and mind-blowing gardens. The staff was super awesome and quick to solve any issues. Special shoutout to Marta from the service who provided amazing information and had GREAT talks with us. The staff at the front desk were friendly and accommodating. The decor in the Crystal house was quirky and unique, and the open roof allowed us to hear the jungle birds and animals all the time. We saw sloths, frogs, monkeys, and other animals in the community. The private hot tub was a nice touch, just make sure to notify the staff in advance. we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this place for nature lovers.

The value for money at this hotel was exceptional, with clean and comfortable rooms. The location was fabulous, with beautiful gardens and a private beach. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

The food for breakfast could have been better.

As old people, we absolutely loved the unique interior of our beach suite. The bathroom with a seahorse jacuzzi, snake shower, and open space shower and toilet was an unforgettable experience. The staff was extremely accommodating, organizing a barbecue for us and fixing the jacuzzi on short notice. The beautiful and peaceful beach next to the lodge was one of the best we've seen in Costa Rica. We also appreciated the abundance of Costa Rican wildlife, which we saw more of during our stay than on our paid trips. The flexibility and responsiveness of the staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

We felt very welcomed and had no complaints whatsoever.
