The location was perfect, close to downtown La Fortuna but away from the crowd. Friendly and sweet staff. Stockings filled with local candies on Christmas morning. Great bird activity and proximity to sloth trails. Tasty breakfast with a nice spread.

The hotel staff, especially Laura, provided excellent customer service and accommodated our breakfast time, allowing us to start our activities early. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, making us feel right at home. we highly recommend this hotel for its peaceful ambiance, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast.

As a disabled traveler, I appreciated the accessible facilities and friendly staff. The location was perfect, close to downtown and attractions, yet away from the crowds. The hotel owner, Laura, went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the local candies in our stockings. The hotel's extensive grounds provided a true Costa Rican nature walk, where we observed over 3 dozen bird species.

The highlight was definitely the location, with a creek running through the property and a deck where you could enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine while listening to the sounds of nature. The staff, especially Laura, went above and beyond to accommodate our early breakfast requests so that we could explore the nearby attractions. The gardens were well-maintained and the hotel had a nice pool and good internet connection. a top-notch resort experience with a true Costa Rican nature walk right on the grounds.

Spectacular views of the Arenal Volcano & Attentive, friendly Staff!

I had the most incredible view of the Arenal Volcano from my room at Hotel Eco Arenal. The sight of the towering volcanic peak against the backdrop of clear skies was absolutely breathtaking. The staff at the hotel were also fantastic - always ready to help and provide excellent service. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

Beautifully maintained grounds with extensive trails for nature walks. The pool and view of the volcano are stunning. Friendly and helpful staff, like Carlo at the front desk who recommended the amazing Cerra Chato hike. The breakfast, especially the tamales, was delicious. Great value for the price.
