Safe, fridge, communal kitchen. Beach towels available at reception. Nice pool with loungers and shade.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was warm, friendly, and professional, making us feel immediately relaxed. They were accommodating to our needs, including our dogs. The property was clean and well guarded, providing a safe environment. The room was updated and very clean, with comfortable beds and warm showers. The location was perfect, being just a block away from the main street and very close to the beach. We found plenty of off-street parking and there was a well-equipped shared kitchen with free coffee available at all times. The staff, especially Sebastian, were super helpful and made our stay even better.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

We loved how this hotel was located right in town, within walking distance of everything. The beach, shops, and bars were all just a short stroll away. Despite being so close to everything, the hotel felt secluded and offered a peaceful atmosphere. The beautiful pool was a great addition, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The mini-market being just 50m away was also super convenient.

my recent stay at a small hotel in tamarindo exceeded all expectations. the outdoor hammocks, peaceful location, and attentive service made it feel like a honeymoon haven. the clean rooms, comfortable beds, and reasonable price were cherries on top. could've stayed forever.

One thing was missing - breakfast.

Although the hotel provides a tranquil atmosphere, a few guests mentioned that they experienced occasional noise disturbances from neighboring rooms late at night.

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful little nook. the staff at Villas Macondo were incredibly helpful and accommodating, making our experience even better. Each bungalow was equipped with a nice big comfy hammock, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. They even offered to wash our laundry and delivered it on the same day. the location was ideal, close to the beach and the best restaurant in town. We loved everything about this place, from the friendly staff to the tranquil vibe on the grounds. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else while visiting this beautiful destination. Great value for money as well.

Our room was cleaned daily and we appreciated the comfortable amenities, such as air conditioning and a fan. the pool area was a relaxing spot to unwind, and the kitchen facility was convenient for preparing breakfast. We also loved the cozy bungalow-style rooms with their own hammocks. it was a wonderful oasis in the bustling town.

From the moment I arrived, the exceptional service and friendliness of the staff made me feel right at home. the room I stayed in, a superior queen, was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities including a mini fridge. the highlight for me was the front porch with a hammock, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful tropical surroundings. the pool area was also fantastic, with ample lounge chairs and a good-sized pool. It was also pleasantly quiet and away from the main busy street. I even enjoyed seeing the cats and iguanas roaming around the property.
