We stayed at Vista Ballena for a week and absolutely loved it! The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, catering to our vegan diet with delicious, large dishes. The room, although a bit dated, was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching fireflies from the balcony at sunset, which had the most breathtaking views of the Whale's Tail. The breakfast service was great, offering a variety of tasty options. The pool, with its two levels, was awesome, and we even saw toucans flying overhead while swimming. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, and the owner's pride of ownership was evident throughout the hotel.

Our Costa Rica adventure was based out of this superb resort and it was awesome. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views of the Pacific overlooking the lush jungle. Our spacious room had a lovely sea view and we even had the pleasure of spotting Toucans from our balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we appreciated receiving all necessary information via WhatsApp prior to our arrival. Communication was easy and effective, whether through WhatsApp or at the reception. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the delicious breakfast and dinner, prepared by an exceptional kitchen team. We had the special dinner and it was the best fish we've ever tasted. Although there were a few minor inconveniences, such as the steep hill towards the hotel and the lack of assistance with luggage, we would definitely recommend this hotel for a memorable vacation experience.

This place is amazing! The view from here is stunning. You can see the national marine park from the top of the mountain. The service here is fantastic, they provided room service, car hire and daily housekeeping. I love the free wi-fi in the rooms and the garden furniture. The staff really made me feel welcome with a complimentary drink upon arrival. The pool is beautiful and the sun terrace is perfect for lounging around. The outdoor dining area is great too.
