I had an amazing stay at Downtown! The staff went above and beyond to make my trip unforgettable. They helped me book tours and even organized a fun pub crawl. I loved how they allowed me to use the communal areas and store my bags after check-out. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. My private room felt like a cozy apartment, I couldn't ask for more. I would definitely stay here again. highly recommend!

The location of this hostel was ideal, right in the heart of the city and close to all the major attractions. It was easy to find and convenient for sightseeing. the staff were friendly and allowed me to check in slightly earlier, which was a nice gesture.

the showers were incredibly small, making it difficult to even change clothes inside. after a certain time in the evening, there was no reception available, leaving guests to fend for themselves.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the fact that I had a room to myself at this hostel. It was such a treat to have my own space and not have to share with other travelers. the staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. the location of the hostel was unbeatable, just steps away from everything in the city center. Another great advantage was the little balcony in my room, which provided a perfect spot for relaxing and people-watching.

One aspect that I didn't particularly enjoy was the difficulty in finding the hostel due to the confusing streets in the area. It took me a bit of time to navigate and locate the hostel.

I stayed at Downtown Hostel for 6 days and it felt like home. The location was perfect, close to the Roman Palace and only 200m from the seafront. A young lady guided us from the taxi rank, providing exceptional service. The dormitory floors were polished wood and everything was scrupulously clean. The shared patio was a lovely place to enjoy the sunshine. The private room was well-priced and provided a comfortable space. Even during the winter season, it was quiet for a good night's sleep. The showers and toilets were clean, and the hostel owner provided a map with recommended restaurants. The central location had plenty of restaurants, markets, and shops nearby.

We arrived at the hostel late and were able to easily contact Marko, who promptly provided us with the door code and ensured a smooth check-in process. the comfortable beds and free luggage storage allowed us to explore the city before our bus to Zadar. Marko was also incredibly helpful when I realized I had left some clothes behind on the balcony, ensuring they were kept safe until my return. the hostel's location in the heart of the city made it convenient to explore, and the staff and fellow guests were friendly and respectful.
