I was pleasantly surprised by the unique character of the hotel. The building itself resembles a Venetian Palazzio and exudes charm and elegance. The interior is filled with quirky antiques that add to its allure. The location is fantastic, with a beautiful view of the harbor from the atmospheric street. I also appreciated the efforts made by the management to address some of the issues raised in previous reviews.

The hotel could benefit from better attention to detail and maintenance. There were some minor issues like dusty corners in the room and peeling wallpaper.

Lovely unique rooms, boundless charm, enormous delicious breakfasts, helpful and kind staff, fine and fearless driver.

Stayed over Easter and loved it! the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfasts were fantastic - loved the grilled cheese! the location was perfect, very central and close to the harbor. And I appreciated the laundry service, very convenient.

The call to prayer from the nearby mosque was a bit loud and woke me up a few times, but honestly, it wasn't that bad. And the bathroom in our room was a bit cramped - but that just added to the charm of the historical building.
