Our stay at Hotel Karlstejn was delightful. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the charming village, with the castle just a few steps away. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was very pleasant, with beautiful paintings and decor throughout. The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious and filling. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as thin walls and a lack of on-site dining, overall I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Karlstejn.

The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The staff is friendly and attentive, offering a warm welcome and even providing a complimentary shot of honey liquor. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast and take advantage of facilities such as a pool and VIP card for future stays.

The hotel's check-in process can be cumbersome, particularly if arriving late in the evening.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! The location is absolutely breathtaking, nestled right underneath the castle about halfway up the hill. The view from our room was spectacular. The service here was top-notch, from the friendly and helpful staff to the efficient housekeeping. They even offered an airport shuttle service, which was very convenient for us. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious welcome drink, such a nice touch. We also appreciated the pet amenities available, as we were traveling with our furry friend. The tours and ticket assistance provided by the hotel made it easy for us to explore the area. The room amenities were great, with heating, tea and coffee facilities, and a well-stocked mini-bar. We also enjoyed spending time on the terrace with the comfortable garden furniture. the attention to detail and the quality of service at this hotel exceeded our expectations.

We would have liked more information about the hotel's amenities upon check-in, such as the pool. It would also have been helpful to know in advance that some businesses in the town close early on Sundays and all day on Mondays.
