We were pleasantly surprised by the size of our single room at Fredensborg Store Kro. The spacious bathroom and amenities provided were impressive. The antique desk was not only practical, but added a touch of charm. The reliable Wifi and delicious breakfast added to our enjoyable stay. The location next to the castle allowed us to explore the beautiful surroundings of Nord-Sjaelland. we highly recommend this hotel for its value for money and beautiful surroundings.

Spacious lobby and dining areas with comfortable seating. Outstanding staff. Originally built for the queen's staff. Good value for money in terms of room and breakfast. Close to the Queen's castle. Can see the "castle" from the front yard. Excellent dinner menu with a 5-course tasting offering. Character-filled building with nice paintings and an open fire. Great staff and plenty of free parking.

We spent Christmas at a hotel with a stunning view of the castle and its surroundings. the breakfast in the impressive dining area had a delightful variety of food. the staff was nice and helpful, and the toiletries provided were of good quality. the location was great, with easy access to nearby lakes and cycling routes. It was also a short drive from a world-class art museum.

The rooms were small and not well-ventilated, making them quite noisy at times. There was a lack of basic amenities, like a phone and a mirror, and some items, such as the TV remote and the shower handle, were missing or broken.
