Good coffee and drinks available. Great bed, pillow, and bed sheets. Lovely walking trail, although mosquitos were a nuisance. Pricey but worth a couple of nights' stay. Friendly staff, enjoyable cave excursion. Excellent fresh seafood. Incredible distant view, serene mountain and river experience. Intimate small hotel with a beautiful aspect overlooking the coastline. 45-minute forest walk, refreshing swimming pool.

This hotel is an exclusive retreat with impeccable service and luxurious amenities. the breathtaking views and serene atmosphere will leave you feeling pampered and relaxed. the outdoor swimming pool is a highlight, with stunning views of both the mountain and ocean. the spa centre offers a range of treatments and the rooms are spacious with private facilities. the restaurant and bar/lounge area serve delicious meals and drinks. the breakfast is outstanding with fresh fruits, breads and jam, and plenty of hot and cold options. This hotel is the perfect location for those who want to unwind and enjoy nature in a comfortable and upscale setting.

The only minor issue was the lack of fridge in the room to store food and water. this is understandable given the location and the hotel's efforts to conserve electricity.

A Magical Oasis

I stumbled upon this hidden oasis after an extensive search for the perfect retreat, and Casa Bonita truly exceeded my expectations. Nestled in a picturesque setting with lush greenery and breathtaking views of the turquoise ocean, it instantly captured my heart. The private cabanas, the pool, and the impeccable service complemented the serene ambiance perfectly. The range of activities, from indulging in a river massage to experiencing the Taino steam bath, were truly divine. I particularly enjoyed the exhilarating zip-lining adventure and the breathtaking horseback ride through the mountains. Exploring the town added an extra adventurous element to my stay. Don't miss out on the Larimar stone gift shop, showcasing the beauty of this unique light blue gem found in the nearby mountains. my time at Casa Bonita was nothing short of extraordinary.
