I had a great stay at a hidden gem in Cabarete. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. The hotel is close to the main downtown area and just a short walk from the beach and many restaurants. However, I must mention that the hotel is located on a back road that is not meant for tourists. It's perfect for adventurous travelers like myself, but may not be suitable for those who are uncomfortable being around locals. I would highly recommend this hotel for those looking for a unique and exciting experience.

Great location in the heart of the local residential area, close to stores, restaurants, and a short walk to the beach and tourist areas. Very helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful pool for leisure or swimming laps. The rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean. Good value for the price.

I have to give credit where credit is due, the staff at the hotel were very nice and friendly. They were always willing to assist and made an effort to ensure that I had a pleasant stay. Additionally, the location of the hotel was quite nice. Although the exterior of the hotel was a bit isolated and difficult to walk through, there were bars nearby and it was a short walk to other amenities in the area. Lastly, I can't forget to mention the adorable cats that roamed around the hotel. They were a lovely addition to my stay.

The room was absolutely disgusting, filled with mold and a strong smell that made it difficult to breathe. the pillows were covered in mold as well, which was disgusting and unsanitary.

Also, the room had a cool design that added to the overall experience. the large size of the studio was a plus, and it had all the basic amenities including a working fridge and good Wi-Fi. the staff were friendly and helpful, quickly resolving any issues and always maintaining a pleasant attitude. the location was convenient, being slightly outside the main area but still close to restaurants and stores, as well as attractions like the Cabarete Caves.

One of the downsides was the difficulty in finding the hotel. There were no signs at the street guiding you to the place, so you had to ask people for directions.

During my stay at The Hummingbird Cabarete, I had an incredible experience. The hotel offered great value for money, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The water in the showers was hot, which is a rarity in this country. The wifi worked perfectly, allowing me to stay connected. The hotel is cozy and has a beautiful pool in the center. Its location, while not right on the beach, is still convenient. It's only a short 10-minute walk or a quick 50 peso moto ride away from the beach and tourist areas. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home.

We loved the safe atmosphere of the hotel, perfect for solo travelers like us. The hotel also provided great wifi service and hot water, two things that are not easy to find in this city. The location was ideal, calm and slightly off the main road, but still within walking distance of the city center. There was a fantastic bakery nearby for our morning breakfast and a great restaurant just opposite the entrance road. The hotel was clean and the staff, including the helpful manager, were lovely. They had great knowledge of the area and provided us with plenty of tips on activities, restaurants, and beaches. We even ended up extending our stay because we enjoyed it so much.

The apartment was spacious and clean, and the balcony had a lot of potential. the staff was friendly and helpful, and there was a security guard on watch at night, which made us feel safe. the pool was a nice amenity, and we enjoyed cooling down in it. Additionally, the fast wifi in the rooms was a convenient feature.

One downside was that the hotel was quite far from the beach. Although it appeared close on the map, we had to walk a long way down the main road to find a pass to the beach.
