We recently stayed at Casa Montalvo for a few nights and had an amazing experience. The charming colonial building with its sunlit atrium and rooftop patio provided stunning views of the city. The breakfast, consisting of fruit, eggs, ham, and toast, was delicious. The hotel's laid-back vibe was perfect for returning to after a day of sightseeing. The location was ideal, within walking distance of the main plaza and a great brew pub. Sonia, the proprietor, was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing tips for our trip to Guayaquil. We highly recommend a stay at Casa Montalvo!

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Montalvo B&B for 9 nights. The King room was beautifully decorated with old colonial furniture and lots of natural light. The staff, especially Sonia the owner, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Sonia even arranged for my laundry and gave me a ride to the airport. The artwork created by Sonia added an extra delight to the already charming B&B. The hotel itself felt like an oasis in the city, with a luminous and classy decor. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the breakfasts were delicious and healthy. I highly recommend Casa Montalvo B&B.
