We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Colonial House. the staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious and good value. There is free organic coffee, tea, and bananas, as well as a really good pool table. They even have a small gym in the garden and well-stocked kitchens. the rooms and bathrooms were very nice both times. We got a transfer from the airport and the driver was the best we've had in four months of traveling South America, with perfect English and tons of recommendations and stories about the area.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was amazing, providing great recommendations and being extremely accommodating with our late check-in and early check-out. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen, clean and comfy rooms, and a lovely garden with hammocks. The location was perfect, close to the center and within walking distance to the historical center and Old Town.

We loved the beautiful garden and chill out area at Colonial House Inn. It was like being in a farmstay right in the city! The location was perfect, just a 10-minute walk from the main square in the historic district. The hostel had fast internet and a well-equipped kitchen. The staff were friendly and proud of their beautiful and well-maintained hostel. The breakfast exceeded our expectations.

Although there were a few minor drawbacks, such as the showers being difficult to adjust and not always warm enough, and the external room with a private bathroom being a bit cold and noisy, these were easily manageable with the extra blankets provided. we had a great stay and would highly recommend Colonial House Inn to others.

I recently had a wonderful stay at a cozy hostel in the historical center. the location was ideal, being both central and within a local neighborhood with plenty of affordable Ecuadorian food. the hostel was close to a metrobus station, making it convenient for exploring the city. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. the room was clean and the common areas, including a spacious garden, were well-maintained. I particularly enjoyed the free drinking water, coffee, tea, and bananas that were available. it was a great value for everything that was included and I would definitely stay there again.

I even had the pleasure of being picked up by a knowledgeable and safe driver from the airport, who provided excellent recommendations and stories about the city.
