I had a wonderful stay at this classic, old hotel with its charming decor. the multiple public seating areas were perfect for both socializing and finding some private time. the views from the breakfast room were truly spectacular, overlooking the Tomebamba river and the city. the staff at Selina were exceptionally courteous, making my experience even more enjoyable. the location was ideal, just a few blocks away from the center of town. And the communal kitchen was not only super modern, but also a great feature for those who prefer to cook their own meals.

Noisy reggaetón music late at night.

I recently stayed in a hostel in Cuenca and it was an amazing experience! the amenities were top-notch, from the unique decor to the ensuite room and the well-equipped community kitchen. I didn't have a chance to use it, but it looked fantastic. the location was perfect, right on the main avenue with plenty of restaurants nearby. Despite being on a busy street, my room was surprisingly quiet when I closed the window. the staff were friendly and easy to approach. They even provided towels and a welcome drink. I was really impressed with this hostel and would highly recommend it.

The location of this place couldn't be better. We were able to find food late at night on the main avenue for restaurants. The lady serving us breakfast was amazing and deserves a promotion. The facilities were great, with comfortable and clean rooms. It felt more like a big mansion house than a hostel. The decor in the public seating areas was classic and had a wonderful old world charm. The view from the breakfast room overlooking the river was spectacular. The staff were exceptionally courteous and made us feel welcome.

There were some minor drawbacks during our stay. Some of the chairs in the seating area were a bit tired and could use some refurbishing.

The room at Selina Cuenca was spacious and had a big, comfortable bed with very soft sheets. The location of the hostel was perfect and there were great amenities such as table football and pool. The staff at Selina Cuenca were also very friendly.

What a fantastic building and a great value for money! The hotel has all the basic amenities and more. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with amazing views of the city. Some rooms even come with a small balcony, allowing you to enjoy the view even more. The location is also optimal, with some wonderful Indian restaurants close by.

All in all, this hotel was great and we had no major complaints.

The free breakfast and welcome drink were nice gestures. the location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to many attractions. We also loved the comfortable bed and the view from the room was breathtaking.

Our relaxing getaway was interrupted by the noise from the busy street below. the thin walls did not block out the sound, making it difficult to sleep.

Situated on the main street, it was right in the center of the city, making it convenient to explore the area. I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. the value for money was excellent. The prices were reasonable and affordable. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The staff ensured that every aspect of the room was spot on, from the cleanliness to the comfortable amenities. Additionally, the hotel's location was fantastic. It was right next to the stairs that led down to the river, making it convenient to explore the beautiful surroundings. Lastly, I really loved all the shared spaces on this property. The hotel had great facilities and the common areas were well-equipped, providing a comfortable and enjoyable environment for all guests.

The location on Calle Larga was convenient, despite being in the heart of this city. This hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness, facilities, location, and service.
