The staff at this hostel were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay very pleasant. They were always available to assist with any needs or questions we had. The cleanliness of the rooms and the common areas was exceptional, and the beds were comfortable with curtains for added privacy. The hostel also had great kitchen facilities, allowing us to prepare meals when needed. The location was convenient, with plenty of restaurant options nearby.

The showers in the ladies' area had some issues, with one lacking hot water and another having low water pressure.

I recently stayed at El Patio Hostel for a short visit. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the facilities were in great condition. I recently stayed at El Patio Hostel for a few nights on my trip to Ecuador. The owners and volunteers were incredibly nice and welcoming. The hostel was extremely clean and conveniently located in the heart of the city. One of the highlights were the beautiful patios scattered throughout the property. Despite being a small-scale hostel with just a few rooms, there were multiple kitchens and common areas with amenities like TV, Netflix, and WiFi. The 24/7 entrance with electronic key made me feel safe, and the price I paid, which included taxes, was very reasonable. my experience was fantastic and I highly recommend this hotel.

The hostel is situated right in the heart of La Mariscal, the liveliest area in Quito. We had a blast exploring the local bars, clubs, and restaurants, and even got a taste of the vibrant Quito nightlife. The hostel also offers awesome tours and activities, like cycling around the city, where we got to mingle with the friendly locals and soak in the cultural diversity. It was an epic adventure that we'll never forget!

The only thing we wished for was a bigger party scene at the hostel. While the location was perfect for going out, we were hoping for more organized events or social gatherings at the hostel itself.

For just $9, I got a dorm bed that included a basic breakfast. the hostel had private bunk beds with curtains, light sockets, and comfy beds. the room also had big storage lockers, which were convenient as they didn't require a lock. the breakfast provided was simple but delicious, with bread, butter, jelly, fruits, coffee. the hostel had friendly hosts who communicated promptly and even waited for my late check-in at 11 pm. the facilities were great, with three different terraces, a TV/lounge room, and a kitchen/dining room. the atmosphere was relaxed and it was easy to meet other travelers and share a meal together. the bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of toilets and showers available. the dorms were spacious and didn't feel crowded at all, with large lockers for backpack storage. Each bed had a curtain, plugs, light, shelf, and other small amenities that added to the dorm experience. this was definitely my favorite hostel after two months of travel in Colombia and Ecuador.

We had an amazing time at El Patio! the dorms were clean, comfortable, and the beds provided a private and quiet space for a good night's sleep. the staff, especially the couple from Venezuela, were incredibly friendly and cooked delicious food at affordable prices. the hostel's location in a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of bars and restaurants was perfect, and the trole station was conveniently close. We felt like we were at home and will definitely stay at El Patio again when we return to the city.
