Beautiful setting, exceeded expectations. Woke up to birdsong, enjoyed breakfast overlooking courtyard. Convenient for Cotapaxi. Spacious room with bathtub! Lovely 400-year-old mansion, charming Christmas decorations. Horse riding and Thursday market nearby. Open all-day restaurant with reasonable prices and great food. Amazing colonial hacienda, poetic garden, cozy rooms with fireplaces and small church. Hard to leave, wanted to stroll garden, dine on tasty Ecuadorian food, and have wine in front of fireplace. Wonderful old property, fabulous room with balcony. Helpful staff, excellent guided trips.

During our Christmas stay, we were delighted by the historical charm and unique character of the property. the hotel's location near Cotopaxi National Park and the Quilotoa Laguna was perfect for exploring the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, the oversized room with a king bed and fireplace provided a cozy and comfortable atmosphere for our holiday getaway.

We were somewhat disappointed by a few aspects of our stay. the grounds and the building exterior appeared somewhat run down, which did not align with the historical significance of the property.

We also enjoyed the courteous and impeccably dressed staff, who took great pride in providing excellent service. Additionally, the hotel's location near Coto Poxie National Park allowed us to explore the beautiful natural surroundings.

There were a few drawbacks to our stay. the facilities were in need of refurbishment, with paint peeling off the walls and threadbare rugs.

The stunning grounds and the nearby volcano added to the overall beauty of the hacienda.

Although there were some drawbacks, like the bathroom needing an upgrade and the lack of tea or coffee making facilities in the room, these were minor inconveniences compared to the overall experience.

The staff was incredibly friendly and the breakfast and dinner options were delicious, with plenty of variety even for vegetarians. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and located around a charming courtyard with fireplaces that created a cozy atmosphere. The interior of the hacienda was tastefully decorated, maintaining its timeless character. The gardens, chapel, and dining rooms added to the overall appeal.
