Our family had an amazing overnight layover experience at Hacienda Jimenita, just 20 minutes from Quito airport. the property's expansive grounds are filled with flowers, birds, and fruit trees, creating a serene atmosphere. the staff, especially Karina, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. the bird-watching tour with the owner was a unique highlight. the restaurant serves top-notch cuisine, on par with NYC standards. Additionally, the spacious rooms with balconies offer stunning views of hummingbirds and sunsets. Overall, a charming and welcoming retreat.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

I had a delightful stay at a charming, converted hacienda in Puembo. The location was peaceful and close to both the airport and downtown Quito. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even offering a free room upgrade. The food from the on-site restaurant was delicious. The property had beautiful grounds with hiking trails and the opportunity to spot various bird species.

The staff at this family-owned hacienda were so friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The food at the restaurant was top-notch, like something you'd find in a NYC restaurant. The rooms were spacious with a balcony where I could watch the sunsets and hummingbirds. The breakfast was delicious, and the entire experience was unforgettable. Although the service was exceptional, we wished for more vegetarian options on their restaurant menu. this venue was a magical experience that offers a perfect oasis near the airport, with hiking trails, scenic overlooks, and llamas to feed.
