The Illa Experience Hotel truly immerses you in Ecuadorian culture, with its beautiful colonial mansion and rich history. We had the pleasure of painting with a local watercolor artist, learning about his life in Quito. The gourmet breakfast was a delightful taste of Ecuador, and we regret not trying the amazing baby pork at dinner. Despite a few issues with the spa and wifi, the attentive staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this unique and culturally enriching hotel experience.

Spent a lovely stay in a beautiful and historical colonial mansion. the decoration and the architecture are amazing. the view from the suite was impressive, overlooking the city's skyline and one of the most famous landmarks. the reception staff provided excellent recommendations on restaurants and some touristic activities and there was an artisan's market located nearby.

Although it was a beautiful property in a great location, some small things could be improved. the breakfast was not as varied as one would expect, and the Wi-Fi signals were spotty in my room.

The suite with a spectacular view was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast delivered to the room was delicious and accommodated preferences. The hotel integrates well with the local community, offering interesting lectures and demonstrations.

Located in Quitos historic district, the hotel offers a convenient location close to plazas, churches, and museums. The rooms are described as comfortable and beautifully decorated, some with stunning views of the city and the Virgin statue. The staff provides a homely service, going above and beyond to ensure every need is met. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast delivered to their room and have the opportunity to meet local artisans from the San Marcos neighborhood.

The service can be lacking at times, with issues experienced during the SPA session and check-out process.

The hotel provided luxurious amenities that fulfilled my exclusive needs. the staff anticipated my every requirement and they memorized my culture, meal preferences and places to visit. the room was spotlessly clean, while the personalized touches included a heated compress with relaxing herbs, bathtub ready with relaxing salts, and personal in-room breakfast. the hotel staff arranged a unique experience, including a meeting with a local straw hat weaver who taught me the skills to create a hat. the hotel also arranged a city tour and transmitted my dietary restrictions to the restaurant. Mishel, the front desk legend, was extremely attentive and considerate and always ensured I felt welcome.

A minor issue was that the hotel had a limited amount of special diet menus available.
