the staff was incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to cater to our needs, even providing vegetarian and gluten-free options. We loved the ecological aspect of the lodge, including the compost toilet in our room. Although there was no WiFi, the staff allowed us to use their laptop when needed. Waking up to the sight of llamas outside our window was an added bonus. Highly recommended!

I had an incredible stay at a lodge in the Quilotoa loop. The facilities were stunning with a cozy fireplace, beautiful reading area, and a yoga studio. The room was luxurious and private. The food was delicious and served family-style. The free jacuzzi and craft beer selection were a great bonus. It was the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate after a long hike. highly recommended!

The food served here was absolutely delicious, with plenty of options for vegetarians and vegans. the hearty home-cooked meals were nutritious and satisfying, and the breakfasts were a great way to start the day. the staff at this hotel went above and beyond to provide exceptional service, offering helpful advice and assistance with arranging transport and providing maps for exploring the area.

This was a major disappointment and overshadowed my overall impression of the hotel. It seems that the high turnover of travelers at this popular hostel could contribute to this issue, and regular fumigation of the rooms would be beneficial to prevent such incidents.

Baloo the dog added an extra touch of happiness to our experience. We wished we had planned for an extra night at this amazing place!

The lodge offers very comfortable beds and a nice view. Breakfast and dinner are included and are both very good. Guests can also get a lunch packet for on the trail. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, even offering a free upgrade from a dorm to a private room. The hostel is highly recommended for hiking the Quilotoa Loop.
