Upon arriving at Puertolago, I was immediately captivated by the stunning view of the lake and mountains. The cabins overlooking the lake provided a charming and unique experience. I was able to spot various bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatching enthusiasts. The wood burner in the cabin added a cozy touch, perfect for enjoying a pre-dinner drink. The breakfast, freshly cooked to order, was delicious and satisfying. Despite some minor drawbacks, such as a cold bathroom and slow service at the restaurant, I found the room to be spacious and comfortable. The overall beauty of the property, along with the amazing view, made my stay truly memorable. I would definitely recommend Puertolago Country Inn & Resort to others seeking a beautiful location and a unique experience.

The hotel is perfectly situated on the banks of a beautiful lake with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. the log cabins were charming and cozy, complete with a working fireplace that made the stay extra special. the staff provided excellent service and even started the fire for us in the evening when it got chilly. Additionally, the well-maintained property and the peaceful atmosphere allowed for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The rooms were a bit cold, despite the fireplace. the firewood provided didn't last very long, and the smoke from the fireplace also entered the room.

We had an amazing time at Puertolago! The value for our money was exceptional, and our room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. The location right by the lake was breathtaking, and the staff treated us like family. Their friendliness and helpfulness made our stay even better.

The only thing that could have been improved was the breakfast selection.

We met the rest of our family there for a quick vacation. It was wonderful. We enjoyed the views. Our four-year-old loved the playground and the llamas. The room was huge and the bed was so comfortable. The building where our room was located was beautiful and the view was spectacular. The food is outstanding and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be. Loved the location and the lake. Planning another visit next year.
