best guesthouse i've stayed in, fantastic staff, ideal location to relax on elephantine island, exceeded expectations in every way, highly recommend for a memorable stay

Located on a peaceful island with easy access to the mainland, this guest house offers a calm and comfortable stay. The rooms are spacious and clean, with friendly staff who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The breakfast served is delicious, and the two roof terraces provide stunning views of the Nile. the owners are extremely helpful in arranging tours and activities.

The bedsheets and pillows could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness.

This hotel was amazing! the rooms were clean and comfortable with everything we needed. the location was perfect, close to the ferry and shops. the best part was the beautiful and peaceful rooftop terraces. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view.

That the neighborhood was a bit dirty and undeveloped. But overall, it didn't detract too much from our enjoyable experience.

our second stay in aswan was even better than the first. nuba dool guest house exceeded our expectations with their friendly and helpful staff. they arranged tours at reasonable prices and made sure we had a delicious breakfast every morning. the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the views from the terrace were amazing. highly recommend!

I stayed at Nuba Dool Guest House for 2 days and it was amazing. The staff, especially Mohammed, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was wonderful. The terrace was lovely and the breakfast served was the best I had in Egypt. The location was perfect, close to the pier for boat rides. The guest house was clean and comfortable, with hot water, fan, and AC in the room. I highly recommend staying here for an authentic Egyptian experience.

We had an amazing stay at Nuba Dool! The property is located on a quiet island away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street. The staff, including Mohammed and his family, were incredibly friendly and communicative, even providing directions to the ferry which we wouldn't have found without their help. The rooms were clean and equipped with a functioning shower and AC. We also appreciated the breakfast box they prepared for our early morning start. the hospitality at Nuba Dool was one of the best we've ever experienced during our travels. Highly recommended, especially for solo travelers like myself.

Felt at home, nothing to complain about.

First, the owner of the guest house was extremely friendly and always available to assist us with any requests or questions we had. Another great feature was the stunning view from the rooftop, which provided a beautiful backdrop for romantic evenings. the location of the guest house, although requiring a boat ride, offered a peaceful and safe environment away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

While our overall experience was fantastic, there were a couple of aspects that could be considered drawbacks. the need to constantly cross the boat to reach the guest house was a little inconvenient at times.

He made us feel like family, even inviting us to join his family for a traditional breakfast. Mahmoud Hegazy, one of the staff members, went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. He showed us around, took us on tours, and ensured we were not overcharged by locals when purchasing items. the room was comfortable with air conditioning and a fan, and the breakfast was delicious. We truly felt welcomed and would return just to visit our newfound family.

The staff was attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious and included fresh omelet, falafels, and yogurt.

Finding the guest house late at night was a bit challenging due to the lack of a clear sign on the front door.

The guesthouse on Elephantine Island offers a range of activities, including visits to the Nubian museum, Nileometer, and Animália. There are also local cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy meals with Nile views. The double room with a private bathroom was comfortable, and the breakfast included fresh vegetables, boiled eggs, bread, and delicious homemade falafels. The hosts were responsive and helpful with any questions.
