I recently stayed at the Sonesta St. George Hotel for a short trip to Luxor. The location on the Nile is beautiful and centrally located. The lobby and public areas are nicely updated, while the pool area offers stunning views of the Nile. The breakfast variety was wonderful and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend enjoying a drink by the pool in the evening. a true 5-star treat of exclusiveness and safety!

The view from our room was absolutely amazing, overlooking the water and giving us a stunning view of the surroundings. Another great aspect was the customer service provided by the staff, particularly Nardine. She went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was a great one, calling us to check if everything was up to our standards. We also loved the fact that the hotel had multiple restaurant options, giving us plenty of choice for our meals.

One thing that we didn't like was that the coffee we ordered to our room arrived cold, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, our room doors closed very fast and were quite loud and noisy, which was a bit bothersome at times.

A highlight of our stay at Sonesta was the breathtaking location on the Nile. The pool was a true oasis and the breakfast buffet was simply outstanding, with an impressive variety of dishes. The chefs were attentive and cooked eggs and pancakes to perfection. Although the Wi-Fi had its hiccups, it did not dampen our overall experience. The staff were always friendly and helpful.
