I stayed at Tekapa in late May. the friendly and helpful staff provided great recommendations for local sightseeing spots. the delicious breakfast and beautiful balcony views were enjoyable. the outdoor relaxation areas around the hotel were a nice touch.

Arriving at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the breathtaking views from my balcony. Despite the small room, the balcony offered a serene escape with a beautiful vista. Overall, I'll recommend this hotel.

I arrived in the evening and felt the warmth of the summer air. Unfortunately, the patio door had to remain closed due to pesky flying insects. Nonetheless, the room's fan provided some relief. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

The small room had no hot water and the shower didn't fully get rid of the river chill. the hotel wasn't clean and breakfast wasn't ready on time, plus the warm-up coffee was lousy.
