pelicano was the perfect beach escape. a truly welcoming family, homemade meals, and a beautiful beach just steps away. the atmosphere was so relaxed and natural, away from the commercial hustle. highly recommend for nature lovers.

privacy was lacking

Wow, what an amazing romantic escape! The owners of this beachfront paradise were incredibly hospitable and respectful. We stayed in a room with a sea view and absolutely loved the open window, allowing the cool breeze to drift in at night. The best part was the delicious and fresh food cooked by the owner's wife, Roxanna. We couldn't get enough of her tasty meals. The location was perfect, hidden away in a piece of paradise. Plus, the owner, Ulises, was not only a great surf instructor but also a knowledgeable tour guide, taking us to the best waterfalls and sharing his insights on the local nightlife. We felt safe and at home throughout our stay. The beach life was the icing on the cake, with sand between our toes and hammocks everywhere. We're already planning to come back before summer ends!

Although our romantic escape was almost perfect, there were a couple of small drawbacks. the lack of a mosquito net was a problem, as the area was infested with sandflies, leading to a night of constant itching.

Stayed at this rustic beach bungalow with a sand floor and no wifi - just like camping! Loved the ocean view, delicious food, and friendly owners. Full of cute animals too.

I had an amazing time at this beachfront property. The location was perfect, as it was right on the beach and I could easily wake up and take a swim or go surfing. The owner and his wife were cool and welcoming, and they provided great surf lessons. The homemade meals prepared by them were outstanding, leaving me feeling satisfied. The upstairs area of the house, where the rooms are located, offered a great hangout spot with a breathtaking view of the beach.

We had an amazing stay at Pelicano Surf Hostel! The location is incredible, right on the beach, and it offers a true local experience. Ulisses and his family were fantastic hosts, providing warm hospitality and delicious local meals. Ulisses even served as a surf guide, ensuring we had the best time in the water. The hostel has all the basic amenities you need, including comfortable beds and a cozy lounge. The beach is beautiful and has a more relaxed and natural vibe compared to the busier areas nearby. Plus, they have the cutest little puppies! we highly recommend staying here for a memorable experience.

The lodge is set in a semi-remote area, providing a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. With hammocks and comfortable beds, it offers a relaxed and comfortable stay.

Some guests mentioned cleanliness issues, but it is important to remember that the Salvadorian way of living might differ from what we are used to.

I recently stayed at Pelicano Surf Camp for a week-long beach getaway, and it was absolutely amazing! The property is located right on the beach, away from the tourist crowds, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I loved waking up to the soothing sound of waves crashing and spending my days swimming, jogging, and exploring the nearby attractions. The beds were comfortable, and the food selection throughout the day was delicious. What made my stay even more special was the warm and welcoming hospitality of the owners, Ulyces and Roxy, who treated me like a friend rather than just a guest.

I would highly recommend this hotel.
