The location of this lodge was absolutely stunning, with crystal clear saltwater river views and a private beach. the staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, making us feel like part of their family. the food was outstanding, with fresh ingredients grown on site and homemade dishes that rival those of five-star resorts. the lodge was secluded and offered a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the town.

One downside of the lodge was its distance from the major town, which made it difficult to find alternative dining options or activities without internet access. the lack of nearby shops and restaurants meant that we had to rely solely on the lodge's kitchen for meals.

We got great value for our money at Salt Lake Lodge. The room was spacious and open, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our stay. The lodge is situated in a beautiful location, with kayaking options to both the Salt lake and the ocean. The staff, including Oz, Simon, Lily, Leila. The serene and tranquil atmosphere made it a very intimate and relaxing experience. We also loved the local animals, Olli, Coco, and Kitty, who were very friendly.

The breakfast option could have been improved by providing advance confirmation on the exact amount to pay instead of waiting until the day of arrival.

The location is stunning - on a tidal river that flows into a pristine lake. The lodge provided kayaks and tubes - and offered a variety of activities. This is a very eco-friendly lodge. The staff were all wonderful. We were able to use the beautiful outdoor kitchen. All the food was excellent. Chef Oscar Ramateau prepared fresh and delicious meals for us both days and even accommodated one of our party's extreme allergies. It's the perfect place for a small group. Six of us fit very comfortably there. We completely enjoyed our stay there and would happily return.

My partner and I stayed at Salt Lake Lodge for 2 weeks and it was incredible. The location is amazing, right on the front of the salt lake. The staff were outstanding, always going the extra mile to ensure a memorable stay. The food, cooked with homegrown ingredients, was delicious and catered to our needs. There was so much to do on the island and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Fiji. The lodge doesn't get enough recognition and I couldn't recommend it more. We will definitely be returning.
