Former forest guards school turned cozy accommodation. Newly renovated rooms and restaurant are comfortable. Excellent breakfast with must-try egg tortillas. Convenient location by frozen river, just 20 minutes from Rovaniemi city center and Santa Claus village. Helpful and compassionate staff.

Located right in the middle of a beautiful forest, Hotel Metsahirvas offers stunning views of the Kemi river. The rooms are comfortable, with all the necessary facilities such as a kettle, microwave oven, and fridge. The staff are friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The buffet breakfast is fantastic, offering a wide variety of choices. Guests can also enjoy a quiet riverside area nearby for relaxation.

I was really impressed with the cozy and nicely decorated room. The temperature was just right for the winter season. The breakfast was excellent and the hotel meal I had was the best I've ever had. The location of the hotel, by a quiet river shore, was perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Although some parts of the hotel and outside looked tired and dated, I'm sure they will work on it to meet the rest of the hotel standard. The icy and slippery stairs at the second entrance need attention as well.

The location of this hotel is certainly convenient being close to the main road, easy to find and perfect to explore the surroundings. the breakfast is worth waking up for, as it offers an excellent variety of food. the rooms are clean and have all the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable.

The rooms are incredibly small, and the soundproofing is not great. We could hear our neighbor's snoring during the quiet night.
