We loved the spacious and charming room with its period features and character. The peaceful garden provided a perfect place to enjoy breakfast. The hotel's location near a park was great for walking our dogs. The receptionist gave us a warm welcome. Despite some limitations, the grace and elegance of the hotel made our stay enjoyable. we would recommend this hotel.

They provided me with local information and tips on how to navigate the city. the hotel was situated in a fantastic location, close to everything the city had to offer.

The hotel's location in the centre of the old quarter was very convenient to explore the busy port area and shops. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a lovely private garden to relax in. The staff provided excellent service, and the hotel was very clean.

Additionally, being in the centre of La Rochelle, it provides easy access to all the major sites in the city, allowing families to conveniently explore and discover the local attractions. The rooms are comfortable and clean, ensuring a relaxing stay for the whole family. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout the stay. The breakfast is delicious and offers a variety of options to cater to different tastes.

The only slight downside is that the hotel lacks a proper shower, as there is only a shower attachment on the tap over the bath. This may result in some inconvenience, especially for those who prefer a dedicated shower space.

All was perfect.

I had a delightful stay at this historic hotel with its charming staircase and spacious room and en-suite. the hotel's location near the Cathedral and old part of town allowed for enjoyable strolls along cobblestone streets. the staff were helpful and the atmosphere was peaceful, despite being in the center of the old quarter. It was also conveniently situated just a 20-minute walk from the old port. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel. the staff, especially Maureen and Thomas on the front desk, were extremely friendly and accommodating. the location was perfect, with parking available which was a lifesaver. the room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. the air conditioning worked great and kept us cool during our stay. the hotel had a lovely back garden where we could relax and enjoy drinks. It was a refreshing change to stay in a place with old school charm instead of a modern and clinical atmosphere. I will definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning in the future.
