We arrived early and were pleasantly surprised when our room was ready in just 20 minutes. The room was absolutely stunning with a large bed, spacious bathroom, and even robes and slippers. We loved that the TV had several English channels, making us feel right at home. The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance of the charming town. Despite some minor issues with the WiFi and breakfast, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel. I would highly recommend Chateau De Montreuil for a memorable experience.

The value for money at Chateau De was exceptional, with a stunning garden apartment that had a spa bath, comfy bed, and beautiful decor. The town of Montreuil had fantastic views from the town walls and the staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly.

The menu for breakfast could have had a bit more variety.

We had a fantastic and memorable weekend getaway at a beautiful historic hotel. the gardens were breathtakingly gorgeous, and the breakfast spread was tasty and catered to our preferences. the hotel was located in a peaceful and serene environment with no noise pollution, just the humming of birds. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable and clean rooms which were spacious and provided lovely views of the surroundings.

We've stayed in Montreuil many times but never stayed here, normally we stay with our children but never really considered the chateau but as we were staying sans kids we thought we'd give the chateau a go. I have to say it's now my favourite hotel in Montreuil, we've now stayed in 7 places. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and the room was an absolute cracker, the views were spectacular, the way it was furnished was really done with some charm and style. Young, friendly efficient staff all speaking good English. All in all I really can't fault the hotel, we didn't eat in the evening but the breakfast was excellent. Very helpful letting us check in early after long drive from Barcelona. A splendid building. Great room. Very unusually and beautifully decorated, large bathroom, lots of windows and therefore light. Really lovely.

The location of the hotel is ideal, situated right on the ramparts of the town. You can enjoy a stroll along the ramparts and take in the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The well-kept gardens are also a highlight, providing a peaceful spot to relax with a glass of wine in hand.

The Wi-Fi at the hotel was complicated and erratic, making it unreliable and frustrating to use.

An absolutely exceptional place to stay and eat

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location within the ancient ramparts was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding beauty. The service provided by the staff, especially the cheerful chambermaids, was exceptional. They truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The room amenities, such as the ironing facilities and flat-screen TV, added an extra touch of convenience and luxury to my stay. I also appreciated the lovely terrace where I could relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. the hotel provided an enhanced level of comfort and quality services that exceeded my expectations.

I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

The gardens were beautiful and we enjoyed spending time outside in the sunshine. The modern and comfortable aesthetic in the bedrooms added to our overall satisfaction. The staff members were friendly and helpful, and we were particularly impressed by the young man on reception and the chef who went out of his way to accommodate our early departure.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Montreuil itself is a charming town, worth exploring. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful and memorable stay.

Lovely rooms with traditional furnishings and elegant bath/shower rooms. Breakfast was satisfying and secure parking was offered. Beautiful gardens and great location near the citadel. Staff were friendly and helpful.
