had a fantastic weekend in saumur and the chateau de verrieres & spa exceeded all expectations! the beautiful restored chateau, period furnishings, and modern facilities made it feel like a home away from home. the owners were incredibly kind and made us feel like valued guests. definitely a place worth returning to!

We had an incredible experience at Chateau De Verrieres & Spa. From the moment we arrived, the owners greeted us with warmth and hospitality. The building itself is stunning, with secure parking and beautiful decor throughout. Our room exceeded our expectations - it was spacious, impeccably clean, and had luxurious furnishings, including plush carpets. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and were always accommodating and friendly. We truly felt like we were visiting someone's home rather than staying in a hotel. it was a high-end and lovely experience.

We were blown away by the luxurious amenities at this venue. The period-style furniture, beautiful garden, and impressive lounges created a stunning atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, providing efficient and truly French hospitality. In addition, the private facilities were exceptional and fulfilled all our luxurious needs.

We did experience one minor issue during our stay. We found that the lack of a fan or air conditioning in the bedrooms made it difficult to sleep during the hot weather.

This charming hotel is located in a prime spot, very close to the town centre and the beautiful Loire valley. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated with period-style furniture, making you feel like you're staying in a friend's grand mansion. The bathrooms are also luxurious and well-equipped. The staff are extremely polite and attentive, providing excellent service throughout your stay. Breakfast is served in a cozy cellar, where you can enjoy a delicious meal to start your day. The hotel also offers a serene garden and a pool for guests to relax in.

The lack of an on-site restaurant means that guests have to venture out for dinner, which can be a bit inconvenient.

Wow! This hotel blew us away! The stunning architecture, beautiful gardens, and friendly staff really made our trip unforgettable. Our room was spacious, clean, and had the most comfortable bed. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with a range of options to suit every taste. The location was perfect, with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, and easy access to all the attractions we wanted to see. We also loved the peaceful pool area, perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

That there was no restaurant on site, although there were plenty of great options nearby. while the staff was generally friendly, we did find that they were not always attentive to our needs, especially by the pool.
