I had the pleasure of staying at a lovely chateau hotel that offered a truly unique experience. The rooms were situated within a real castle, complete with picturesque stone windows and breathtaking views of a private park and river. The ambiance was undeniably romantic, despite the hotel's size, which gave it a slightly impersonal feel.

The castle's Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms, which, although expected due to the thick stone walls, would have been helpful to know in advance. Furthermore, the windows let in cold air, which may pose a challenge during winter months.

my second stay in couiza was even more incredible than the first! chateau des ducs de joyeuse was all i could dream of and more. the history, the architecture, the artwork, and the serene countryside made my heart soar. the staff were exceptional, the facilities top-notch, and the restaurant superb! a truly unforgettable experience.
