We had an amazing stay at this charming chateau in Burgundy. The location was perfect, as it was close to the center of town and also conveniently located near Beaune. The room we stayed in was spacious and well-decorated, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The bathroom was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The service provided by the owners was exceptional – they were friendly, engaging, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and we also had the opportunity to taste the local wines at the bar. it was a wonderful experience.

During my stay at the Chateau Saint-Michel, I had the pleasure of experiencing a truly magical view from my junior suite. The beautiful room had the biggest and most comfortable bed I've ever encountered. The owners, Mark and Mehta, were incredibly engaging and made our stay unforgettable. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a fabulous wine tasting experience, organizing everything for us. The chateau itself is a stunning property that has been newly renovated, and our room looked exactly as it did in the photos. Everything was immaculately clean and the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated.

The owners, Mark and Mate, were incredibly caring, friendly, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, arranging an amazing wine tasting and making reservations at excellent restaurants. The beds were large and comfortable, and the bathrooms were updated and clean.

The cleanliness of the hotel was below average. We found dirty glasses in the bathroom, dead insects on the furniture, and dirty windows.

Excellent hosts, knowledgeable about wine. Beautifully renovated building with comfortable rooms. Lovely breakfast served at the table. Convenient location for exploring the Burgundy vineyards. Will consider returning.

The hotel has a beautiful exterior and surroundings, and the service from the staff was excellent. the room was also quite comfortable and had a nice view. the private parking was very convenient.

The housekeeping could be better, as some amenities were not sufficient for multiple guests. the breakfast was very overpriced, and it was much easier and cheaper to find breakfast options outside of the hotel.

We felt like they truly cared about taking care of us and made us feel at home.

The location was perfect for exploring the Burgundy area, being conveniently close to the center and also within reach of Beaune. The staff was attentive and the 19th-century greeting rooms added an elegant touch to our stay.

The lack of a restaurant on-site, but there were plenty of dining options in nearby towns such as Chagny.
