We had a fantastic stay at the hostel! The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. They were always willing to help and provide tips on what to do in this city. The hostel had a nice bar with special offers for guests, and the breakfast options seemed delicious, although we didn't have a chance to try it. The free wifi was a bonus, even though it wasn't super fast. The location was great, only a 10-15 minute walk from the city center, making it convenient to explore all the attractions.

I had a fantastic stay at Gastama! This was my second time visiting, and they exceeded my high expectations. the atmosphere at the hostel is incredible, and they continue to renovate the furniture and style of the building, making the bedrooms even more fantastic. the staff were the highlight of my experience - they were friendly, chatty, and incredibly helpful. It truly felt like being part of a family. the spacious and nicely styled bedrooms, along with the clean and decent-sized bathrooms, provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay. the location is great, in the old part of town, with an easy walk to the city center. the hostel's bar has a great vibe, and many locals also come to eat and drink there. They offer a free walking tour, which was informative and helped me get familiar with the city. the kitchen is functional, with ample space to store food, and there are laundry facilities available. the helpful and friendly staff, along with the lift, made checking in a breeze. the breakfast pastries in the morning were a lovely touch.

The breakfast buffet, although could have more variety, was delicious and worth the price.

I had a great experience at The People Hostel in Lille. Although there were a few minor drawbacks like the lack of lockers in the rooms and the need for soundproofing, these did not significantly impact my stay.

The 10 bed dorm felt spacious, with each bed having its own lamp, power plug, locker, and privacy curtain. The bathroom and kitchen were always clean. The bar and backyard were great hangout spots, and I wish I had attended the welcome meeting. I appreciated the organized board game nights too. The modernity and attention to detail here are top-notch.
