we stayed at a comfortable and characterful hotel with spa facilities. the location was perfect, allowing us to walk everywhere. the staff was very accommodating, even fulfilling our request for dinner in the room. the triple bedroom made it easy to stay with our baby. we enjoyed the outdoor pool and had superb weather during our stay.

As adventure travelers, we loved the location of the hotel, being just a two-minute walk from the old downtown area. The proximity to the "D-Day" sites, such as the U.S. Cemetery and Omaha and Utah beaches, was a major plus. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxation after a long day of sightseeing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offered a great selection of fresh and delicious food.

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the complementary mulled wine and mince pies served to all guests, which helped to create a festive atmosphere. the hotel’s central location made it easy for me to explore the city and visit local cafes and restaurants. the hotel’s free parking was a great convenience for those who wanted to rent a car and go on excursions during their stay.

The hotel’s outdated decor could use a refresh. the lack of soundproofing in the rooms made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep, as noise from nearby rooms and outside traffic could be heard easily.

the food at the hotel was exceptional and the service was top-notch. the hotel itself had been beautifully remodeled to a high standard. I was pleasantly surprised to find multiple English channels on the TV, which can be rare in France. the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the secure parking on site was a great advantage. the hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance of both parts of town. It was also a convenient base for exploring the famous Tapestry and the Normandy Beaches. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
