Excellent location right next to Gare de Lyon. The room and bathroom were spotless clean. Perfect for a one night stay with little time spent in the room or on a shoestring budget. I appreciated the helpful receptionist who provided maps and timetables for getting to Orly Airport. The bed was comfortable, and despite the dated decor, the mattresses felt new. I would recommend this hotel for its convenience and cleanliness.

The hotel facilities, including the elevator/lift, were convenient and useful. The location of the hotel was extremely close to both the Gare de Lyon train station and the Metro station, making it easy to access different parts of the city. Additionally, the staff was gracious and went above and beyond to assist guests, such as providing phone and computer converters.

As backpackers, we loved the character-filled Hotel Database and its winding stairs. Our spacious room on the 4th floor was pleasantly quiet. The staff were extremely helpful, and the late reception desk was a bonus. The hotel's convenient location near Gare de Lyon and the metro station was a big plus. We also appreciated being able to leave our luggage for free after checkout due to our late afternoon flight.

The room was clean and tidy, just like in the previous reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff, who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The hotel's location right next to the metro station was a huge plus for us, as it made getting around the city so convenient. And the fact that we could leave our luggage in the hotel after checking out was a great help, as we had a late flight. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay in Paris if you are not expecting luxury.
