my stay at etaples was amazing, especially celebrating my birthday at this hotel. cote d'opale is a hidden gem, with excellent quality breakfast and a clean, comfortable room. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more memorable.

Wifi kept signing me out every 10 minutes.

This hotel is conveniently located, with easy access as you enter the town, close to the town centre, and right next to a fabulous restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable, with roll down shutters on the windows to help with light sleepers. The staff were really helpful and caring, making sure our stay was pleasant. Additionally, there is a bike rental nearby for those without a car.

There is still some building work going on due to the expansion of the hotel.

Staff were so caring, they practically tucked me in at night. Room not having a conditioner was a blessing, who needs cool air in a heatwave? Cleaning was perfect, I felt guilty for leaving a speck of dust. Great for car owners, anyone without one can enjoy a scenic 10-minute walk to rent a bike. Mind the infrequent buses, darling!

Ventilation was delightful, having the street at arm's reach and the metal blind almost shut, who needs fresh air? The room was so cozy, it made a tiny prison cell look spacious.

Clean, comfortable and conveniently located hotel. Recently tastefully decorated with friendly owners. The beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The roll down shutters on the windows helped with a good night's sleep. Despite some building work going on, the finished bedrooms were of a good standard. The breakfast was quite good, although it would have been nice to have some hot food options. The hotel is in a great location near a long wide beach. I would recommend this hotel for a cheap and convenient stopover near Calais.
