The hotel's location next to the Palace is superb - just in front and very calm. It's also conveniently close to good restaurants in the market place. The staff were very helpful and friendly, with excellent English skills.

Despite a few minor issues with outlets and a strange smell in the bathroom, the hotel readily offered a solution. Another bonus was the presence of a lift, which made our stay even more comfortable. I recently celebrated my 25th anniversary and decided to stay at a hotel that would make the occasion truly special. And I must say, my stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations! The decor of the room mirrored the opulence of the nearby palace, transporting me back to the grandeur of the past. The location couldn't have been better, just a stone's throw away from the main gates of the Chateau. It made visiting the palace incredibly convenient.

Cleanliness could be better.

Additionally, it is as close as you can get to the famous chateau in the area. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with matching fabric on the walls, bedspreads, and curtains. The updated bathrooms and Juliette windows add a nice touch, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Guests can enjoy a plentiful breakfast with options such as hard boiled eggs, toast, juice, coffee, cold meats, yogurt. The hotel also has charming courtyards and an open-air restaurant with delicious food options.

We had a great stay at De France in Versailles. The location was perfect, just steps away from the Versailles Palace and a few blocks from the train station. It was convenient for us as our main destination was the palace. The hotel itself was lovely, with a historic feel. The rooms were not huge, but they had enough space for us and even a desk to work from if needed. The bathroom was nice with a good bath and shower, although the tub was a bit small. we had a comfortable stay with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. We also enjoyed exploring the shops nearby.

We were able to easily walk to the chateau, train station, tourist office, and restaurants. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, with well-maintained rooms and common areas. The hotel facilities were great, with a lift available for convenience. The breakfast served was delicious, with fresh and tasty pastries and bread. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, always ready to assist us with anything we needed. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the chateau allowed us to stay in a building with historical significance, as it was created for Louis XIV's finance minister.
