Boat shuttles to various islands available in front of the hotel. So convenient, I practically fell into the boat. The location is superb, I had to walk a whole 2 minutes to reach La Rochelle's main attractions.

Just missed having a roller coaster inside the room, would have made the stay even more exciting.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel like part of their family. The location was absolutely fantastic - within easy walking distance of everything I wanted to see and do. Plus, the rooms had a beautiful rustic charm that added to the overall ambiance of the building.

The lack of a lift was a bit challenging, especially when it came to carrying my luggage up the winding staircase. navigating the complicated one-way system in the area was a bit frustrating when trying to find the hotel by car.

I recently stayed at Hotel De L'Ocean for a short weekend getaway. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the heart of La Rochelle. The reception staff were extremely helpful, providing us with great recommendations for nearby restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfortable beds and the stunning view of the old harbour from our room. Additionally, the hotel has a lovely terrace where we enjoyed our breakfast and soaked up the beautiful views of the surrounding area.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel right in the heart of the city. the reception staff were incredibly helpful from the moment we checked in. the location couldn't have been better, with lots of restaurants and beautiful walks in every direction. Our room was of average size but comfortable, and the bathroom with a shower had plenty of hot water. Despite being above restaurants, the double glazing ensured a peaceful night's sleep. the air conditioning was also a plus, especially during the warmer weather. We loved the view from our room overlooking the harbor, especially with the Christmas lights. a great experience and we would definitely return.
