loved my long stay in beynac-et-cazenac and du chateau - beynac et cazenac was the perfect choice! great location, helpful staff, and cozy bar area with a real fire. exceeded my expectations!

pool area needs sprucing up

The location of this hotel is fantastic! Situated at the bottom of the hill and on the river, it provides stunning views of the surrounding area. The town itself is charming, with medieval rock buildings and lush plants. The rooms are clean and quiet, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The bathroom is spacious and modern, providing all the necessary amenities. The service is exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The breakfast is delicious, and the hotel even offers facilities such as a TV, air conditioning, and internet in the lobby.

The only downside to this hotel is that the rooms could use a bit of renovation.

Arrived to find the room dirty with cobwebs and a nasty smell in the corridors. the hotel felt old and neglected, desperately in need of a makeover.

The value for money at this hotel was excellent, with a comfortable room and a lovely view of the street. The location was unbeatable, right in the center of the stunning village. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast option could have been improved with a wider variety of choices.

the staff at Du Chateau were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They even helped us navigate through strikes and road blocks. the hotel is situated right by the river, offering a magical view. the bedrooms and shower rooms have been recently updated, and the comfortable beds made for a pleasant stay. the hotel is also conveniently located near lovely chateaux and river trips, providing plenty of activities to explore. a nice place to stay, especially in the spring and autumn seasons.

We had a wonderful stay at Du Chateau in Beynac-et-Cazenac. the location of the hotel was perfect, situated just below the Chateau and across the street from the river. We loved sitting and watching the river from our room. Parking was available across the street for a reasonable price of 4 euros per day. Although it could be a bit challenging to find a spot midday, it cleared out in the evening. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with parking and making our stay pleasant. the village of Beynac was absolutely picturesque, and we would definitely stay here again.
