The hotel had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with clean and basic but comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly and accommodating, providing a gluten-free menu for my wife without any issues. The evening meal was excellent, with delicious home-cooked food, and the breakfast was also great. The hotel is located in a quiet and pleasant countryside setting, close to the motorway and the town of Laon. As a family, we particularly enjoyed the fact that our family room consisted of two adjoining en-suite bedrooms, which our teenager loved. it was a wonderful independent French hotel experience.

That the hotel felt like it lacked some personal touch or attention to detail, but other than that, there was nothing to complain about.

Great location just off the A26, perfect for a stopover. The hotel is full of interesting photos and memorabilia, which adds to the historical charm. The staff were helpful and accommodating, even providing an early breakfast. The evening meal at the restaurant was very French and good value, with a good selection of beer and wine.

Some rooms were not as clean as they could have been, with low supplies of toilet paper. The meals served in the hotel dining room were of poor quality and not worth the price.

We stayed one night on our journey through France. The triple room was actually two rooms connected with a curtain, perfect for some quiet reading. The shower facilities were great. The hotel looked closed, but the rear door was open with keys left out for us. The room was basic but very clean, and the supper was excellent home cooked honest food. The staff were truly French, amusing, and friendly. The local honeyed beer was an extraordinary find.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

My single room was small, but well-appointed and decorated, with a very comfortable bed. It was ideal for a solo traveler like me. the evening dinner offered simple, home-cooked meals that were surprisingly good for the price. They had an excellent range of beers, including the landlady's son's own brew, which was a brilliant addition. the hotel also had parking at the rear, which was convenient for me as a motorcyclist returning from France to the UK. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable, and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel facilities were great, and I especially appreciated having a restaurant onsite. The staff were truly friendly and amusing, making me feel very welcome. The breakfast was traditional and delicious, with excellent bread and croissants. The location was perfect for me, as it made for a convenient stopover on my way to another destination.
