From carrying our bags to the room to making us delicious espresso, Francisco, the host, treated us with genuine care and compassion. the hotel itself is a stunning 16th-century building that will leave you in awe. I was fortunate enough to stay in room 4, and the view from my window was breathtaking. the hotel is conveniently located next to the famous Shakespeare & Company bookshop, adding to the magical atmosphere.

My daughter and I loved our stay at Hotel Esmeralda. We were captivated by the fabulous location, with The Seine and Notre Dame right across the road. The view of Notre Dame lit up at night from our open windows was simply magical. The small park outside, as well as the excellent restaurants, bookshop , salon de the, patisseries, and small supermarkets nearby made our experience even more convenient. The hotel's quirky, older-style rooms and the charm of the hundred-year-old building added to the romantic atmosphere. The staff, particularly Francisco, were extremely helpful, and the multilingual reception staff made us feel at home right away. We will definitely be coming back!

Had a Parisian dream escape at this Old World hotel with charming rustic interiors. Close to a train station with easy access to the Château de Versailles. Some rooms even have a view of the River Seine and Notre Dame. Perfect!

Felt like I was in a cave with the lobby's dark wood and heavy draperies. Not the best for those who prefer bright and airy spaces.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming hotel near Gare du Nord and just a 2-minute walk from St Michel Notre Dame metro station. the room, though small, was clean and well-supplied, with a nice view of the park and Notre Dame. the staff was friendly and accommodating, even keeping our luggage for us after checkout. the location was perfect, with excellent connections to all the major sights in Paris. We also enjoyed the quirky decor and the nearby breakfast place with a view of Notre Dame. Esmeralda Hotel provided a great base for exploring the city.

It was also conveniently located near the Metro and RER, providing easy access to airports and railway stations.
