I recently stayed at Hotel Gay Lussac for a week while exploring Paris. The staff was incredibly friendly and always available at the front desk. The location was perfect, a short walk to Notre Dame and the Seine, as well as the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens. I loved the charm of the hotel, with its old-fashioned decor and ornate wallpaper. The balcony on the 5th floor provided a lovely view of the neighborhood. Plus, there was a fantastic bakery/ cafe next door for quick meals and treats to go.

The hotel had a great location, close to many attractions and easy to reach from the airport. We could walk to places like Pantheon and Luxembourg Gardens, which was very convenient. Another advantage was the friendly and helpful staff, who made us feel welcome during our stay. They were accommodating and provided us with useful information about the area. The rooms were simple but clean, providing a comfortable place to sleep.

There were a couple of negative aspects that affected our experience. One issue was the noise from the heavy traffic outside, which made it difficult to fall asleep for someone like me who is sensitive to noise.

Despite the small bathroom, the shower pressure was acceptable. The staff at reception were welcoming, making us feel right at home. The price was reasonable considering the location. The hotel's location was perfect, with the Luxembourg Gardens, metro, and Pantheon just a stone's throw away. The bus station right outside the entrance was incredibly convenient. The rooms may have been simple and small, but when you're in Paris, you don't spend much time in the hotel room anyways. The beds were comfortable, and for the price we paid, it was the best hotel option. There were also plenty of charming cafes in the area for breakfast or dinner.

Great location close to public transportation and attractions. The room was basic, clean, and economical. I appreciated the effort of the staff who tried their best to communicate, even though they didn't speak English. The nearby streets felt safe at night. I felt like I got value for money.

During my stay, there was a heatwave and the little room fans couldn't cope. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning which made it difficult to sleep with the windows open due to the busy and noisy location.

We loved the hotel's cleanliness and the helpfulness of the staff. The location was fantastic, right at the RER B stop, making transportation to and from the airport a breeze. The hotel was also conveniently located near a Metro station, making it easy to explore the city.

We loved the excellent location of this hotel. It was very close to the RER stop at Luxembourg station, making it easy for us to travel to CDG airport and explore the city using the Metro. The hotel staff were also very friendly and helpful, confirming our taxi requests and wake-up calls. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel facilities were top-notch. Additionally, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast during our stay.

The location of this hotel is mind-blowing! Just a 2-minute walk from the train station and 5 minutes from the beautiful gardens. Plus, there's a pharmacy and bubble tea store nearby. The staff is super friendly and speaks English, but a little French goes a long way. Our room had a jaw-dropping balcony and large windows that opened to the outside, with blackout shades for a great night's sleep. They even offer free wi-fi and a flat-screen TV. And the best part? They'll store your bags while you explore the city. All of this for an excellent price. Highly recommended!

The breakfast offered at the hotel was not worth the price, as it consisted of just a bread selection, yoghurt, tea, and coffee. the lack of air conditioners and fans made the room quite warm, especially when the windows had to be closed to avoid street noise.
