We stayed at Metropole and had an amazing experience. Shirley, the staff member, was incredibly attentive and understood our needs. Despite our odd check-in and check-out times, she made sure we had no issues and even arranged for the restaurant to open earlier for breakfast. the hotel's location was also great, especially for those with mobility difficulties. It was near an elevator, shops, restaurants, and most importantly, the shrine.

The location of the hotel is excellent, only a short walk to the Grotto. The cleanliness of the hotel is top-notch and the breakfast options are delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Additionally, the presence of a car park was a great convenience. I'll definitely recommend this hotel.

It would be beneficial if there were more accessible options for guests in wheelchairs, as the hotel is located on an uphill road. Also, the absence of air conditioning in the room was slightly uncomfortable.

Great location, very close to the major business area and restaurants. the hotel room had a comfortable bed and clean linen. the staff was welcoming and helpful, offering great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. the hotel also had a good Wifi connection which made my work easier.

The hotel is quite old and not well-maintained. the bathroom was outdated and cramped, making it difficult to take a shower.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. the location was perfect as it was very close to the church and the sanctuary. This made it incredibly convenient for those visiting for religious reasons. Secondly, the staff were exceptional and provided attentive and friendly service throughout my stay. Finally, the rooms were comfortable and had the basic amenities I needed, including a small balcony on the third floor. Additionally, the breakfast offered was tasty and satisfying.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I couldn't find any faults with it.

the facilities in the room were basic but adequate for my short stay of a few days. I particularly enjoyed the continental breakfast and the set menu for lunch and dinner, which I found to be quite good for the price. the staff at the hotel were friendly and made an effort to translate menus and other information into English.

Impressed by cleanliness and friendly staff. Third floor room with balcony, no A/C but 24/7 security. Comfy 6ft bed, nice ensuite with bath and overhead shower. Breakfast continental, staff helpful, housekeeper went extra mile.

the manager and staff were very flexible and accommodating, allowing me to choose a quiet room that felt like home. the location is excellent, close to the sanctuary. the hotel public areas are spacious and the meals are delicious.

One downside is that the bathroom could use some modernization and better ventilation.
