Great location near city center, ample parking, well-equipped apartment for families.

I recently stayed at Hotel Montaigne in Sarlat and had a wonderful experience. We stayed for three nights and found the location to be perfect, right on the edge of the walled old town. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially during the National train strike, and our room was like a cozy apartment with a king bed, kitchen, and living area. Being able to open the windows and enjoy the cool breeze at night was a nice touch. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near the city center and has public parking right in front.

We stayed at Hotel Montaigne for a short family trip. The location was perfect, with a big parking area right in front of the hotel. It was within walking distance of the city center and the food market. The apartment we stayed in was well-equipped and perfect for our small kids. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole place was extremely clean. Definitely a great choice for families with kids.

Excellent location, just steps away from the charming old city. Our room was clean and comfortable with a separate toilet and bathroom. We appreciated the warm and friendly welcome from the owners. The breakfast was a great value at only 8 Euro. we had a fantastic stay at this outstanding value hotel.

Despite the lovely overall experience, parking can be difficult on the square. However, the hotel offers the option to rent a parking garage space.

the staff at Montaigne were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us and our dog feel welcome. the hotel was impeccable, always kept clean and tidy. Its prime location allowed us easy access to all the amenities in the area. We appreciated the convenience of being able to walk to the city center and found the public parking in front of the hotel to be both convenient and reasonably priced. the rooms were comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarlat-la-Caneda.

The room was clean and comfortable, with enough space to store clothes. the breakfast was tasty and satisfying with fresh bread and ham. the location was great, just a short walk to the town center and near other attractions.

There were loud noises coming from outside all night long, which made it difficult to sleep. the hotel did not provide any earplugs or a soundproof room.

The location on the outskirts of the medieval town is perfect, as everything is within walking distance. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, with big windows overlooking the picturesque square, twin beds, and air conditioning. The breakfast provided was substantial and delicious, the perfect start to the day. I particularly loved the attention to detail, like the covered terrace on the second floor where you can enjoy lunch from a nearby bakery.

I recently stayed at Hotel Montaigne for 2 nights while visiting Sarlat. The location was perfect, only a 5-minute walk to the charming old town. The buffet breakfast had a great variety of options and the hotel was impeccably clean. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, especially the young man at reception who provided excellent customer service and even arranged a garage for us to use.

The location was excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the Main Street but still quiet. The staff were super friendly and gave clear instructions for the €5 per day parking in their garages. The rooms were modern, clean, and had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the scorching heat. Everything you need for a good stay at a reasonable price, with nice bedrooms, great bathrooms, and a delicious breakfast option. We really enjoyed our stay!
