We stayed at a hotel within easy walking distance from the centre and main attractions. the staff at Campanile were super friendly and spoke English well. the breakfast, although not offering a huge variety of food, was sufficient. the hotel lobby, eating area, and rooms were all very nice, and we especially enjoyed the great breakfast.

It's just a short walk from the train station, so we could easily stumble back after a big night out. Plus, it's super close to the Racecourse of Caen, where we got to see some epic horse racing action. So convenient and fun!

If there's one thing we would ask for, it's a bit more of a happening nightlife scene near the hotel. We had a blast exploring Caen, but it would have been even better if there were more bars and clubs within walking distance.
