the room was spacious, clean, and newly decorated, providing all the comforts I needed. the highlight of my stay was the lovely garden and swimming pool, where I could relax and unwind after a sunny day. the breakfast served at La Grande Mare was simply amazing, with a great variety of fresh products to choose from. Mikael, the host, was perfect and made me feel very welcome. I would highly recommend La Grande Mare for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I recently had a last-minute stay at a small friendly hotel in an excellent position. the view from the breakfast area overlooking the well-kept garden and swimming pool was delightful. the room was clean and the breakfast was abundant. I also enjoyed exploring the area, especially cycling along the beautiful coastal bicycle path.

We really appreciated the thoughtfulness of the staff, providing a cool box for our picnic and accommodating an early breakfast for our departure. The pool was a big hit, offering a relaxing time before dinner, and towels were provided. The location was stunning, with fine views across the bay and a selection of excellent restaurants nearby.

The building had a persistent smell of cigarette smoke, which was unpleasant for us as non-smokers. The decor and furnishings felt outdated and could use some updating.
