I absolutely loved staying at this charming, well-kept cottage in the heart of Bayeux. It made me feel like I was living in another time, but with all the modern conveniences. The house was very clean and had all the amenities I needed. Its location was perfect, being very close to everything in Bayeux. The host, Marine, was superb and gave me great flexibility with my arrival and departure. I also enjoyed the option of making my own dinner in the kitchen. a wonderful stay for a budget traveler.

The hotel had a great location, very central and close to all the main attractions. We loved the tasteful and quality renovation of the interiors, especially the bathroom and bedroom. The hostess was very accommodating and helpful, giving us a nice history of the place and suggesting great places to eat and shop.

One downside was the difficulty in finding parking spaces nearby that allowed free overnight parking. It was also a bit tricky to locate the hotel using GPS due to some detours caused by a special event.

Best aspects of our romantic escape were the central location and the charming atmosphere of the house. We loved being right in the heart of the city, with a wineshop/bistro next door and a courtyard with a homemade ice-cream/creperie just outside our door. The historic feel of the house, with interesting old posters decorating the walls, made our stay unique and special.

Worst aspects were the lack of a hand towel in the kitchen and the initial unavailability of the host on our arrival. A hand towel would have been helpful for drying dishes in the kitchen.

What a charming and unusual way to spend a weekend! The private little historic tower, located in the absolute center of the city, provided an amazing experience. Overlooking the buzz of the main shopping street and the tranquility of a river right under your window, the location was unbeatable. The host was friendly, communicative, and accommodated our special request. The Maison itself may be tiny, but it was easy to access and the owners were wonderfully welcoming. The nearby attractions, including the historic city and the seaside, made it a perfect base for exploring. Additionally, there were plenty of restaurants, independent shops, and bakeries in immediate proximity.

What a charming and unique place to stay for a weekend! The house itself is absolutely adorable, and the location couldn't be better. We were able to explore the historic city and even take a short drive to the nearby beach. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even going out of their way to fulfill our special request. The communication with the host was seamless, making our stay even more enjoyable. Plus, there are plenty of fantastic restaurants, independent shops, and bakeries right near the property. I highly recommend this lovely place for a memorable getaway.
