Our Easter stay at this historical château was delightful. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, with a large park that provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The room we stayed in was spacious and clean, with a separate sitting area and a fantastic view of the park. We especially appreciated the fact that the towels and bed sheets were changed regularly, even though we only stayed for two days. The breakfast, which we opted for, was delicious and included fresh French bakery products, flavorful coffee, and a selection of fruits. the ambiance and amenities provided a great value for the price.

There were a couple of drawbacks to our stay. the location of the château was a bit isolated, requiring a car to get around.

The lack of air conditioning in the rooms can be a bit uncomfortable, especially in the evening when the west-facing rooms can get quite hot. However, this is to be expected in a historic building like this hotel.

It was easy to get to Paris city center by driving and the price was very reasonable. the history of the building was also a big draw for us, adding to the charm of our stay. the rooms were spacious and provided everything we needed. Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by beautiful parks which were lovely to explore in our free time.

The hotel lacks a bar and the restaurant was not open for dinner during our stay. Some guests had to drive to the nearby town or walk to Mesnil le Roi for other dining options.

We had the most amazing stay at Maison Du Val. It was the perfect place to escape from the noise of the world. the property was absolutely stunning, with different areas to relax like the beautiful garden, the elegant bar, the terrace, and even a games room and cinema. the mix of antique and modern furniture gave the place a unique charm, and you could tell that a lot of thought and love had gone into every detail. the food was delicious, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. Our teenagers loved it, but it's also ideal for kids and couples as there's so much space and plenty to do. We can't recommend it enough!

The room was good and clean, which was a relief after a long day of travel. the building itself was beautiful and the location was convenient for my business trip. Additionally, the staff was friendly and accommodating when I arrived early and needed to check in before the designated time.

There were several aspects that I found disappointing. the shower in my room was extremely tiny and the door was too small to comfortably fit through, especially for someone who is overweight like myself.

The quilt on the bed was a bit too thick and made me feel too hot at night. It was also difficult to find the Terrace walking path into town, as the directions were not clear.

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful outdoor seating and grounds of Maison Du Val. The buffet-style food at the self-service bar was delicious and there were plenty of amenities like nordic baths, a cinema, game room, and library. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend this hotel.
